Pub food good. Restaurant food not so good. Ate in the restaurant area 12/29/2014. Had a beet- goatcheese salad w grilled chicken...meh. Son had a cheese pizza - overcooke/ burned. Husband had brisket sandwich - he said it was "ok". We've been to the bar area many times and enjoyed it. Not a fan of the restaurant part of thenoperation.

One reviewer described this as village quality at off village prices and we couldn't agree more. Had a really good burger and the flat iron steak. The burger was a wonderful steakhouse burger. The steak was the best we've had in Vail/ BC. It was cooked perfectly and had wonderful flavor. It's a short walk from the village but well worth it.

Dinner was excellent, and the server was very attentive even though they were quite busy. The pizza is highly recommended, perfectly cooked artisan style with crispy crust outside and the right amount of chewiness everywhere else. We also had their signature half chicken (slow cooked in spices and the pan roasted to finish). This is outstanding, and holds its own compared to the also superb lamb osso bucco.

Food was ok (bread was 2 days old and broke apart when trying to butter it) but atmosphere was horrible and 3 of waitstaff including our waitress were clearly on cocaine or Meth or something because they were so out of control awkward and rushing around like they were being tracked by someone trying to hunt them down. On a recent visit to Beaver Creek, we went to Black Diamond Bistro for dinner where we had lobster bisque, lamb osso buco and mushroom ravioli. The bisque was fabulous and filled with lobster meat. My husband loved the lamb. He raved about the flavor and how tender it was. The mushroom ravioli was wonderful but very rich. The very is lovely, and the service can't be beat.

Wow, the food here is amazing. Who knew?! Tucked away in the Charter at Beaver Creek, Blaxk Diamond is a great find. They even had 50% off entrees for off-season, so an even better surprise. Chef Dan creates incredible food that has me excited to return. He even came out and check on us, which was a really nice touch. This place is on par with Terra Bistro & Larkspur in the Vail Valley. Wine selection was nice and the dessert, Cherry Galette with Maker's Mark gelato, was to die for! 2 thumbs up; can't wait to come back.

After ice skating in the main plaza at Beaver Creek with our daughter, we decided to grab dinner. We ended up decided on Black Diamond after a quick Yelp search. It is located in 'The Charter' at Beaver Creek, which is about a 5 minute walk from the main area at Beaver. Creek by the ice skating rink. The bar area is very nice with great views of the mountain, but I will say the dining area seemed a bit 'chopped up' and didn't flow the best. We ended up deciding on an outdoor table on their small patio off the bar area. Our server warned us that the temp drops a lot once the sets (which it did!), but it was a nice evening and the views were great. I ordered the 1/2 chicken with fingerling potatoes, and fresh veggies, which was very good. My wife tried it and thought it was a bit too greasy, but I liked it. She had the steak which was good as well along with a side of fresh veggies. She commented that the veggies were delicious and very fresh. The menu is pretty small, but they try to source local ingredients and did a nice job. The prices were reasonable and it was a nice meal overall.

The BDB is a hidden gem at Beaver Creek! Located just a short walk from the main village, you'll pay non-resort prices for resort-quality F&B. The staff is extremely accommodating, the restaurant is very family-friendly, and the food (affordable steaks!) is on par with anything you'll find in the area. Highly recommend!!

Just ate here for dinner the other night and the food was great. I ordered the angus flat iron steak and it was cooked perfectly, medium-rare. Considering this steak was better than some steakhouses I've been to, the price wasn't bad at all. Also ordered a side of Mac and cheese which was pretty tasty. Family ordered the cod which was just OK, nothing to write home about. Overall, the service was pretty good except for when we came in. For some reason, the manager was at the host stand and was getting coats for people who were leaving. I don't know if he knew them personally or what, but he completely ignored us for about 5 minutes. We just stood there waiting to be seated/acknowledged, and when he finally did, he acted as if we had just walked up. Aside, from the awkward moment coming in, this was a nice place to eat.

The food is amazing as are the views, Great sports bar location too! The moment you walk in you feel the relaxed atmosphere while taking in the best views of any restaurant in Beaver Creek Resort. Free valet parking too .... My new favorite place to eat in the Beaver Creek / Avon Colorado area

... let's be clear, this place is a bar .. not really a restaurant. That being said .. we had a good time and the food was decent and our waiter was trying very hard. I'd try it again after I tried a few more places.

First off I would like to say the restaurant has potential, however not the night my family went. We starting our evening off at 8pm with the notification that the pasta of the day was no longer available - no bigge since a we weren't planning on having the pasta. Our server wasn't very knowledgable about there menu or wine list at all and his service was pretty slow. When we were able to get our dinner order in we were notified that the beef tenderloin was also not available- this didn't sit too well since two out of the four of us wanted that as our main course. About 10 minutes after ordering the waiter comes back out and notifies us that the chili relleno (side dish for the ribeye) was also no longer available. It's at this point we were certain this is going to be a very bad restaurant experience. Our food came out and the ribeye was mostly fat, the rest of the food was pretty good- the flatiron steak was great I thought - a bit too much peppercorn in the sauce for my liking... Which brings me to the final issue - we had requested the sauce be on the side since my wife does not enjoy peppercorn at all - this did not happen. She muscled through it just to be able to eat at the same time as the rest of us. I will not be returning to this restaurant when we come back in the summer.
